AAYC and UNSA Sign Landmark Partnership

The Afro-Arab Youth Council (AAYC) has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Uganda National Students Association (UNSA), marking a significant milestone in advancing youth leadership, empowerment, and collaboration in Uganda and beyond.

This strategic partnership reflects a shared commitment to nurturing a generation of young leaders who are actively engaged in shaping their communities and contributing to national development. By bringing together the strengths and networks of both organizations, the MoU sets the foundation for impactful initiatives that will amplify youth voices and participation.

The signing ceremony was witnessed by key leaders, including the President of AAYC and Secretary General, Hon. Dr. Agaba Abbas, alongside HILMI AMINA, the Deputy Secretary General. Also present was UNSA President Shillah Mbabazi, accompanied by her delegation, all united in ensuring that this partnership is firmly grounded in a common vision for young people.

Through this collaboration, AAYC and UNSA aim to champion youth participation in leadership, governance, and civic spaces. The partnership will create opportunities for capacity building, advocacy, and engagement, empowering young people to take on meaningful roles in decision-making processes.

This MoU goes beyond a formal agreement it is a bold commitment to building a future where young people are not only heard but are actively shaping policies and driving change.
